10 Ways to Make the Most of the Weekend

This weekend, why not try mixing it up a bit! Try doing things a little differently. Make the most of your Saturday morning and really embrace your Sunday afternoon. Here’s our pick of some fun things you can do to make your weekend extra special.

Make a Healthy Breakfast

 

The only way to make a lazy Saturday morning even better is my adding a healthy brunch to the mix. While you could explore your local offerings and try a new dinky coffee shop, an even better way option is to make brekkie yourself.

Get some eggs cooking and some tunes going. Get your friends and family involved. You’ll be cooking up an organic feast of goodies in no time.

 

Workout

Take out your trainers and put away your negativity. It’s time to exercise. And it doesn’t have to be boring. You don’t have to limit yourself to lifting boring weights at the gym. Get out in the open for a change and breathe in the fresh air. There’s plenty of fitness regimes that you can follow that don’t require any equipment; only sincere determination.

 

 

Change up your room

Changing up your room is a great way to spice up your life with minimal effort. Try your hand at interior design. Watch how the light enters the room and make use of it. Moving around the furniture can make the room feel unique and new, without having to spend money on new pieces.

 

Make a Plan

It is always good to have a plan. Whether it’s a 5-year plan or just one for the weekend, it holds you accountable. You have the responsibility to stick to it and get things done. Try listing your major goals and aims. Make some decisions and plan your future.

 

Update your CV

It’s never a bad time to focus on self-improvement and getting ahead in your career. Start by sprucing up your CV. Make sure that it’s up to date and contains your most recent and current employment. Make sure to explain any gaps in employment and don’t sell yourself short. Be your own cheerleader!

 

Give a friend a massage

 

Yes, this weekend, be a good Samaritan and a morph into a masseuse. Massages are amazing, no question! They relieve tension, relax your muscles and feel absolutely incredible. And not to mention, your friends will love you for it! It’s an invaluable skill to have as very few people can resist the therapeutic draw of a good massage.

 

 

Plan a Party

Who doesn’t love a good party. We sure do! This weekend, why not plan your own bash. Invite over all your friends and celebrate each others company. Get creative with it. Create a theme and get everyone involved. Go big or go home, right!

 

Colouring Books

Yes, I’m serious! Embrace your inner kid! Colouring for adults is a fun new way to release stress and relieve tension. The perfect activity with a cup of coffee on a rainy day.
